Alex Mullen

Alex began his dog training career as an assistant to one of the best area trainers at a local pet store chain and under his guidance, he quickly earned his dog training certification for Positive Reinforcement training and began running his own training classes.  The private sessions and group classes helped him with further developing his skills and continued to develop and even stronger passion for working with all types of dogs.  Alex has worked at various dog day care centers as a Dog Trainer over the last several years and this has allowed him to continue to educate and hone his skills in a variety of positive reinforcement training techniques while working with many dogs on a daily basis.  Alex is currently pursuing his national CPDT-KA certification for dog training and hopes to one day get his Animal Behavior degree to help with the dream of opening a rescue facility so he can help many dogs find forever homes.

Alex’s love for dogs stems from having multiple dogs at home throughout his childhood. He sees them as an extension of his family, and he wouldn’t be whole without them.   Alex believes this is what has driven him to a career as a Dog Trainer and his belief that if you set up dogs for success with consistent positive reinforcement training, they will return that with the behavior you are looking for.  Alex is also passionate in his beliefs that successful training can be obtained with positive reinforcement, patience, consistency, and love. He approaches training with the goal of setting your dog up for success, by not only training the dog but also providing you and your family the tools to succeed. Alex looks forward to helping you and your family.
